Service allows us to practice doing what Jesus would do. It connects us to those we serve and gives us a kind of satisfaction that self-interest can never offer.
Current Serving Opportunities
> Bus Ministry: If you have a heart for evangelism than our Bus Ministry is looking for you! We open the doors at the side of our church to the Greyhound Canada Bus Terminal every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:30am to 5:30pm. People come in for coffee and muffins and most leave having accepted prayer. Many have also received salvation - praise the Lord! All are welcome to attend! > Worship Team: We are always looking for musicians with a heart for worship. Please contact Carol Leynard at 250-619-2047 or office-emc@shaw.ca
> Nanaimo Healing Rooms: Training is available for those interested in using their gifts of healing. People come into the Nanaimo Healing Rooms to receive blessings and healings from Heaven on Monday from 7 to 9pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4pm. Contact Jennifer Bergen at jenbergen@telus.net
> Kid's Church Leader: We are looking for a leader for the Kid's Church. If you have a heart for children please contact Pastor Wayne Nelson at nelway@telus.net
> Sound & Multimedia: We are looking for people to help with operating the sound board and slide show during meetings. Training is provided! Please contact 250-619-2047 or office-emc@shaw.ca
